VINE GROUP SCOPE & HISTORY
VINE Quality Hospitality Group is raising standards for service, food
and drinks to international gourmet expectations and is emerging as the
primary full-service quality hospitality company in the country.
Established in 2003, the group’s main business activities include
restaurants, catering and events management as well as wine, beverage,
Cuban cigar, and hospitality accessory importation and distribution.
The group also assists many start-up hospitality ventures with training
and acts as a 3rd party logistics provider.
VINE Group is comprised of several Hanoi properties including Vietnam’s
first bona fide wine destination, the VINE Wine Boutique Bar & Café
with a flourishing delivery and outside catering business. The group
also runs the retail store VINE Cellar, and the VINE Annex event space.
In HCMC, VINE Group continues to grow in the wine and accessory
distribution business, and its properties include Casa Habana Cigar
Shop at the Park Hyatt Saigon Hotel Lobby and soon to be VINE Wine
Boutique & Wine Bar in 2008.
VINE has established a substantial catering and events management
business in Hanoi for high-end tourists, expatriates, corporations and
private, high net worth Vietnamese clients. When the government needed
catering for the APEC functions VINE was called in to provide its
esteemed, ISO 22000 food safety standardized service and fine food for
1,000 VIPs at the APEC Leaders summit and 350 CEOs at the APEC CEO
conference. For its efforts VINE received hundreds of grateful guest
comments and recognition from the Ministries responsible for hosting
the international delegates.
As the tourism and hospitality sector continues to flourish in Vietnam,
with projections over the next five years of over 100 new golf courses,
2,500 new restaurants and more than 400 new 4 and 5-star hotels, VINE
Group is positioning itself to benefit from this marked growth
throughout Vietnam and the region.
Within its activities, VINE Group also offers educational programs for
its staff and customers, involving seminars, wine tastings and
community service. Frequent international cultural activities and
menus, including a year round program of cigar, food and wine events
are also featured.

REPUTATION
VINE’s establishments and companies have met with great acclaim. Public
opinion is excellent, and general awareness is high among foreign and
local businesses and travelers. Among these, VINE is proud to have a
well-integrated mix of patrons: 30% Vietnamese, 20% tourist and 50%
local expatriates including Australians, Europeans, Americans,
Japanese, Malaysians and Koreans.
Despite very little advertising, VINE has met with such success thanks
largely to an excellent Public Relations campaign with exposure in
Western and Vietnamese press, television appearances, and training
programs for staff, patrons and wholesale customers.
VINE is also known for its serious commitment to charity and its status
as an integral part of and contributor to the community. The group has
raised over $50,000 for Agent Orange victims and sponsored funds and
support for Operation Smile, Blue Dragon Foundation, Pearl S. Buck
Foundation, Terry Fox Cancer Research Foundation, Koto, Hoa Sua, ITI –
International Tracoma Initiative, Hoc Mai Viet Duc Hospital. VINE has
also assisted with much additional sponsorship for AmCham, AusCham, Can
Cham, golfing events and art launches.
VINE Group became the first wine distributor and catering event
provider in Vietnam to be certified with Quality Management System ISO
9001 and Food Safety Management System ISO 22000. VINE Wine Boutique
Bar & Café became the first restaurant in Hanoi to receive the
certifications, as well as certification from the General Department of
Standards and Quality Measurements of Vietnam. VINE won the Top Trade
Service 2006 Award from the Ministry of Trade of Vietnam, Wine
Spectator Awards of Excellence in 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007 and the
Frommers International Standard Award in 2006.
In addition, the group has organized and hosted the International Wine
Challenge Vietnam (IWCV), an annual event created by VINE and expert
wine authority Robert Joseph, geared at measuring the quality of wine.
The 2007 event was a critical success and received enormous media and
nationwide TV exposures.
VINE QUALITY HOSPITALITY WHOLESALE & DISTRIBUTION
The VINE Quality Hospitality Wholesale and Distribution network
currently serves over 500 clients, primarily consisting of 4 and 5-star
hotels, but also including corporations, embassies and high net worth
individuals. The product list spans 1,500 items of food, beverage and
hospitality supplies from our exclusive list of over 200 of the best
suppliers around the globe. VINE leverages extensive knowledge and
relationships with the world’s leading producers to deliver a very high
level of quality products to the Vietnam market.
VINE Group is also partnered with Pacific Cigars in Hong Kong, the
exclusive worldwide distributor for Habanos Cuban cigars and other
cigar accessories. The partnership currently owns and operates the Casa
Habana cigar shop in Park Hyatt Hotel in Saigon
The Flagship Wine Montes from Chile ranks VINE as the number one wine importer in value from Chile to Vietnam.
In addition to the excellent relationships the company has with nearly
every 4 and 5-star hotel as well as the top restaurants, VINE has
secured exclusive arrangements with several new restaurants and hotels
providing a full range of services like events management,
consultation, advising, wine selections and design assistance. Service,
value, quality and variety continue to be the group’s strong points and
will only improve in the future.
The group’s nationwide distribution presently includes offices and
warehouses in Hanoi, Hoi An (Da Nang) and HCMC with strategic
relationships in Phu Quoc, Hai Phong, Ha Long Bay, and Nha Trang which

VINE’s restaurant ranks among the very top dining destinations in
Vietnam. The wines on offer have been recognized with several
significant awards including American and Italian Winery of the year
and IWCV wineries of 3 years running. Prominently located in Hanoi’s
West Lake area, VINE Wine Boutique Bar and Café is the group’s
signature restaurant, serving world-class international cuisine to an
ever-growing clientele of Vietnamese, tourists and expatriates from
across the world. The restaurant and Annex were established as part of
